St Martin's Church

During the renovation of the catholic church St. Martin in Effretikon the forecourt has been redesigned by Planetage landscape architects. They commissioned us to design, plan and realize a fountain and a fireplace in cast bronze. The fountain has been designed as a stationary, formally reduced monolith. It is a symbol of a timeless source that never runs dry. The mobile fireplace is in use on religious holidays, emphasizing the power and the pleasant warmth of fire.
